Professor of computational mathematics and artificial intelligence. He directs an AI research institute and a university center for AI technology.

His group of 20+ researchers and PhD students publishes at NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, EMNLP, CVPR, AAAI, IJCAI, and RecSys, and in SIAM and IEEE journals.
